Many times families become so attached to other residents and staff that when their loved one no longer needs our care, the family member will choose to return and volunteer during special events or just visit with the residents and staff to retain the friendships formed. Some feel comfortable enough to do their own activity such as Brain Teasers, Baking or Bible Study. A few have even gone on to be employed part time in our Activity Department. It is nice to retain the “family feeling” that is achieved here at Lincoln Park Manor and we are lucky to have them all.
