Our new design creates an “open area concept” that allows patients and families to interact with their nurse in a personal/more confidential manner.
This is in contrast to our previous design that created a barrier which made it more difficult to access patients and communicate efficiently.
When designing our new space we created a test/mock station to gather practical application suggestions from those who use the space daily. Features utilized in the old design were carried forward and other aspects were invented to give us a perfectly blended space. The “Stand-up desk design” is a good example of how the space was enhanced to promote wellness and productivity. Furthermore, the new configuration allows our nurses and clinical staff to
work together in a central location while providing easier access to hallways and patient rooms.
The nurses station now accommodates all types of interaction and workflow needs. Our new environment encourages enhanced collaboration and allows practical storage and intense focus in multiple areas.
The Nurses Station Renovation is just another example of our commitment to provide an exceptional environment centered on care, compassion, and communication.
We are proud to serve the Miami Valley and are dedicated to excellence.
